We just received our first order from FreshDirect, including all our free food.
It looks good to me, it came quickly, the driver was friendly, etc. If you live in almost any part of Manhattan, this might be a nice way to do your shopping, especially since, after coming from California, I've found that grocery stores here just suck. You don't have options for anything: you can basically choose from one kind of chicken, one kind of pork, one kind of cheese, one kind of milk, and two kinds of spaghetti sauce. Fresh Direct doesn't seem to have the variety that a real supermarket has, but it's better than anything else you'll find in the city, I think.
