Respectable?

Murray Chass: "Despite the view of him within baseball, I like Jim Bowden. I like the way he works, and it was his way of working that made the Nationals respectable for a couple of seasons." The Nats have had exactly one respectable season, going 81-81 in 2005. Outside of that year, the Washingtonians have won 71, 73, and 59 games. Those aren't respectable numbers in my mind.
