Enormous All-Star rosters really pay off

Those 33-man rosters, wow, I'm sure glad we had them last night! You know, what with the AL using 25 players and the NL using 26. And both teams could have shortened that (significantly, in the case of the AL): Mark Buehrle, Zack Greinke, Edwin Jackson, and Felix Hernandez each threw perfect innings in ten pitches or less. (Jackson only needed four, and Greinke used exactly ten despite two strikeouts. Impressive!) On the NL side, Jerry Manuel only used three of his starting pitchers, and Danny Haren could have gone another inning, having thrown just 12 pitches in the fourth.
